More good news!

Kavan was at the cross cancer this week on Wednesday for another catch-up with his oncologist.

It was all good news this visit as Kavan's blood counts are within normal ranges and therefore he is able to start chemotherapy next week. It will be 5 days of chemo this week and I really hope the week goes quickly.

As well, Kavan received word that his most recent MRI and CT scan came back all clear. It is such a relief to know that the cancer has not spread and his foot is healing normally following the radiation.

So, now on to rest and relaxation this weekend. It's time to get out and enjoy our relatively mild winter weather. Have a good weekend!

  1. Hi Darling,
I'll be thinking of you today while you undergo chemo at the Cross. Dad and I are so proud of you, and love you more than we can ever tell you! You are so strong and courageous and before you know it, this will all be over. Only 17 weeks left (You started at 48)!! We are totally in awe of how you worked right through chemo and radiation, even when you could hardly walk!
You are an exceptional, young man and never forget that you are deeply loved by so many people! The future looks very bright and happy!A big hug and kiss from me.
Love you so much, darling... Your very proud Mom
